Porma Fridays: Darth Vader Armor

Who, in his right mind, wouldn’t want to wear a Darth Vader Armor?

The Vader Armor comes in different shapes and sizes. Costume makers make different sizes of armors for adults, children, babies and even dogs. Also, different molds are used especially for the mask since the armors differ slightly in each Star Wars Film. The most authentic looking armors are molded from the molds Lucas Studios originally used for the film.

The armor includes the mask, jumpsuit, cape, collar, shoulder guards, codpiece, chest piece, belt, shin guards, gloves, and gauntlets. Buystarwarscostumes.com sells an official licensed adult Darth Vader armor for $794.00.

Titillating Thursdays: The Expendables

Sylvester Stallone. Jason Statham. Jet Li. Bruce Willis. You can’t get any manlier than that. Oh, but you can. Really. If you throw in the likes of Terry Crews. Randy Couture. Dolph Lundgren. Arnold “I-Drink-Steroids-in-Place-of-Milk” Schwarzenneger (God I hope I spelled it correctly). Put them all in one movie, and you’ll have yourself the mother godfather of all action movies. (And did I mention, a testosterone-packed one at that?)

Expected to be shown on August 13, The Expendables is the action film to catch this year. The movie will serve as a tribute to blockbuster action films of the last three decades, and so much so that it will also pay homage to the top action stars of the past and the present.

Set in the treacherous regions of South America, a team of highly-skilled mercenaries headed by Barney “The Schizo” Ross (played by Stallone) are sent on a mission to take down a dictator-in-charge. The movie also features Mickey Rourke, retired professional wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, martial artists Gary Edward Daniels and Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira.

Macho Mondays: Bettina Santos

It's the start of another week, and this week's Macho Monday feature is a common face in the campus: Bettina Santos.

If you were a freshie back in 2009, surely you've seen this figure around as she was in the Ateneo Orsem video. Not only does she act for the camera, she act's on stage as well! A very well rounded person, she helped with Gabay Halalan last summer and once an active member of YFC, Tanghalang Ateneo and many more! Surely we haven't seen the last of her.

She was also part of a music video of a Silent Sanctuary song. Check it out.

Sunday Special: World Cup

Hello mi amigos! Its Sunday today, and I bet you know whats happening later 230 am. ITS THE WORLD CUP FINALS! OMG OMG OMG.

Yeah, and before Spain gets their first ever world cup title, let us reminisce on what has happened during the past few weeks. Actually, just a video of Puyol's great mucho gwapo header, and some other stuff that happened during the Spain-Germany game last Tuesday.
